The Starlite by YoYoFactory is basicly another version of the protostar, or northstar. Same everything. Just different changes to the side cap design since this time it is round. It only comes in a Glow in the Dark color, which in my opinion is kind of sad, because, im sure there are ALOT of people out there beside me that would rather have a starlite in a real color not some glow in the dark color. The Starlite is alright. I wouldnt picture it being at the top of other yoyo’s priced around the $25 range, but it’s kind of close to being at the top. It plays pretty good. I mean, its a real good yoyo for lets say an intermediate player that wants a nice H-Shape yoyo, that plays well, for a reasonable price. Now lets say your advanced or better, then your better off getting a protostar or northstar since those yoyo’s are a bit heavier, there meant for faster play. The Starlite does prove that it can accomplish suprisingly well spin times. Its rather floaty since it has a plastic weight ring, instead of the metal ones they have on the protostar and northstar, but its still good. One kind of a downside to this yoyo, is that YYF is making there yoyo’s now with some plastic that will crack easily. So you want to be careful with this yoyo. It can get cracked easily cause its all hollow inside. Especially the circle cap design, it will break off, or crack easily. I’ve seen it happen before. But overall, at the end of the day, you’ll be happy that you’ve purchased this yoyo because it can be a very pleasing throw to have.
